My new Denim Shorts. I have to say I'm rather proud. I went on an op shop hunt to find some jeans that were high waisted and came across these. Though jeans at the time I thought they were cool and have finally transformed them. I think they're guys jeans...hmmmm X

Churros

The Churros. A Mecca for all Melburnites. And a definite must when strolling the Chapel St any day. Doughnuts dipped in melted chocolate, how could we not? I guess all we can do is thank the Spanish.

By the way I highly recommend the ice/hot chocolates, I'm telling you: liquid gold. X

Now as you all have probably gathered, i am an avid TV show watcher- is that a phrase?- anyway i usually start a new show each holidays and these holidays my favorite's definitely been True Blood. like most shows it definitely faulters after season two but i persisted for this gorgeous guy...

Alexander Skarsgard. And so now i admit i have become a fan- a rare feat- but i thought i'd better share his gorgeousness as really its too selfish to keep him to myself. so if your into the whole 'i'm a badass vampire but i actually have a soft side (don't tell anyone)' then i recommend watching
but not only is he all hotness he is a 1000 year old viking vampire, yeah, exactly.

the glories of being an op shopper

so as you all know, we actually you wouldn't know seeing as I've only been doing this for a  little time, i am an avid op shopper. there's something so enticing about the racks of clothes waiting to be discovered. But! mind you even op shopping does not have its allures for the shopping orientated. sometimes a bargain is too hard to give up especially when its a Perri Cullen coat for only twenty dollars. its easy to end up with a wardrobe full of amazing clothes that you promise yourself you will wear.And so that i why this blog was created, to give me somewhere to display my finds and lift my conscience from my mind and so allow me to keep op shopping because sometimes its just too hard to pass up those Faberge jeans.

Home alone and bored to tears, so i jump on the couch and watch some meaningless tv

so i am currently doing what seems to be my sole occupation in life: sitting on the couch and watching shows no one seems to know. the show of the day in the fantabulous Arrested Development, with a very young Michael Cera. it follows an extremely dysfunctional family (something i'm sure we can all relate to) But all in all i would have to say my favorite is this guy-  how could someone not fall to the ground laughing?

Forrest Gump. I watch this movie for the first time this weekend. by all means not a masterpiece but one movie you definitely need to experience in your life time.
